A local volunteer organization dedicated to senior citizens started a month-long fundraising campaign. VNA Community Services (Volunteer Network on Aging) in Galesburg launched their ‘Put Your Heart into It‘ fundraising drive, and other organizations and businesses are joining in to help the cause. A pair of 'free range' parents who had their 10 children taken away from them after authorities argued they were living in squalor have been reunited with their young ones.
Joseph and Nicole Naugler lost their children in May after they were discovered to be living 'off the grid' in a 280-foot makeshift shelter in Breckinridge County, Kentucky.
